IANG Visa Renewal and Permanent Residency After 7 Years

IANG Renewal Modes

Under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG), the renewal mode depends on whether you have lived in Hong Kong for a continuous period of at least two years, but not less than three years, after your first arrival as a non-local graduate.

Permanent Residency After 7 Years

After residing in Hong Kong continuously for seven years, you may apply to become a permanent resident, subject to the relevant requirements of the Immigration Department.

The seven-year period is counted from your first arrival under the IANG scheme, and continuous residence is required.
